Hi guys,

Our house is approx. 20 years old and the internal walls are built using Stramit boards. I would like to attach a couple of shelves to a wall but can't work out what the best way to secure this is. I initially thought the wall was hollow so got some plasterboard fixings but there is no where for them to open out into so these are out. Would a standard rawlplug do the job? The material inside is not quite solid, but fairly tightly packed so I'm not sure if over time this would simply fall out!

Thanks for any help.

Steve

Dreadful stuff! The only thing I kno which works for certain are resin injection fixings - and unfortunately the aren't cheap:
