Auto matic air vent

AAV are sold with NRV; are the NRV prevent flow up to AAV or prevent flow of air down into system? Is it just to make it easy to remove the AAV without draining system so no need for additional isolating valve then?

is it bad to have aav on the suction side of the pump, it is sealed system, but hear there is possibility of air drawn into the system through AAV if low pressure at that point.

i blieve the NRV you refer to is actually a shut off valve so that the AAV can be removed without draining system. I dont like them too close to the inlet side of the pump in case air gets sucked in
