Hello all
Discovered the auto air valve on my combi boiler was leaking today, I've been googling all over the place as don't really want a Sunday callout fee. Have tightened the wee valve and it no longer leaks however I find conflicting advice on various websites about whether I can just "leave it at that" safely or not.
I understand the valve has a purpose and should normally be 1 or 2 turns open however is it the end of the world to leave it closed and run the system? If so I would probably do that and leave it till next service / plumbing problem.
Ta!
