Hi,

I have a Baxi 105e and the Automatic air vent is leaking a small amount of water, so, thinking of swapping it as it's a cheap item to swap.

I understand that when I fill the system, I leave "open" the air valve on top. But, do I leave it undone all the time? or, nip it back up, and just open it when I feel a need to bleed the system.

Secondly, any suggestions on where to buy the correct Auto Air Vent from? Will the universal bottle vent from Screwfix fit?

Thanks for any advice.

BUy a new baxi one, and leave it open. If it starts to leak, replace it again.
