hi, i have a baxi burmuda 401 back boiler having problems with th primatic watr tank and wanting to change to an indirect water tank, is it possible to do this without changing the boiler?

yes of course you can
is it still gravity hot water? if it is you might want to consider making it a pumped system with a cylinder stat

Went to a job a while ago where some numpty had replaced single feed cylinder with indirect and NO header tank. God knows how they filled the primary side with water. When the boiler was fired, water pressure blew the HE gasket.

Some job removing the bachboiler to replace the gasket. The householder was well pi55ed with 'plumbers'
