Gotta put a back door in from my garage into garden. Needs to be at least half glazed. Security main concern.
Years ago I’d have gone for a nice chunky hemlock/hardwood, 5 lever mortise lock, toughened glass, and not given it a second thought.
But is it normally a upvc jobbie these days? No maintenance but pretty sure costs more?
