Back to wall toilet. fitting flush and waste pipes

Hi,
I havent started this job yet, only taken things out of the box to inspect and figure out how i will do this.

This is what i have bought,

The problem is that the panel that pops on and off with locating lugs is 1 full piece. (not 2 piece like others i have seen)
So when the toilet is positioned up to it and fitted there is no way to remove the panel.

So the panel would have to be fitted first and then the toilet connected, but i cannot reach down or behind to connect the waste and flush pipe from the cistern.

I guess like our wall-hung pans you have to measure carefully and set the soil and flush pipes so they will slip easily into place when the pan is presented to the panel. A bit of spit or lanolin on the rubber fittings will ensure it all goes together without distorting any of the rubber seals.

I had to ensure that the flush pipes were held firmly in place with clips.

Could you leave the cistern off, fit the pan and check water tight with buckets of water?

After a bit of searching i have found a solution.
Will flexible flush and waste pipes work?
Some people are saying they leak though.
I only need the toilet about an inch or two away from the unit to allow the panel to be clipped into place then slide the toilet up to it.
If the pipes are sealed in then.

I cant fit the toilet and pan with leaving the cistern off as i wouldnt be able to connect the pipe to the bottom of the cistern afterwards. There isnt much room in the unit.
