Hello All,
I have been sold some Bal bond SBR and the above BAL grip wall tile adhesive in a tub. From a well known tile shop.
I explained that I have ceramic tiles that are 235x355mm and are going on a normal plasterboard wall in a bathroom away from any wet areas ie bath or shower or sink.
I have been advised on another forum that the SBR is not required when using this BAL grip adhesive. But I was dissuaded from using the BAL grip adhesive because of the size of the tiles and the time it might take for the adhesive to set.
I was thinking that if I were to use the BAL grip straight onto the plasterboard and then left it longer before grouting, thus giving it more time and air to set in.
Could this be the answer?
Thanks for your guidance.
