Balanced flue gas fire

I have just had a balanced flue gas inset fire installed and noticed a very bad draft coming through a 1.5 in circular hole though which the gas pipe passes into the firebox.Surely this can not be right? please can anyone advise what I can do.

Call your installer back and ask him to sort it

most fires come with some type of rubber grommet that should be fitted

Are you 100% sure the installer is Gas Registered and that you know his registration number?
