Our current fiberglass balconey is in need of a slight repair. There are no leaks apparent but one support of the glass balustrade is gone so the balustrrade is wonky. Clearly maybe some rot underneath. The fiberglass does make a cracking sound in a couple of places. So perhaps the boarding underneath has also rotted a bit. And the balustrade lost a couple of glass panes over the winter as the clips holding them on had rotted out. The glass used was NOT tempered either! Luckily no one got hurt.

Called my good building friend and he suggest we replace the fiberglass with asphalt with a tile cover. Anyone else have a asphalt balconey and if so how's the experience so far.
