I've purchased two 15mm full flow ball valves to isolate the supplies to my power shower. The valves are not symmetrical, but there is not an arrow on the side to indicate flow direction. Does it matter which way they are installed?

yes, but not really.

i've seen them installed either way. i once installed 1 the wrong way and didn't notice. its best to install the correct way though

If they are full bore it shouldn't make any difference. ;)

As I had no idea, I have been trawling the web & couldnt find any reference to directional flow, so that was the conclusion I came to.

I would say if there's no arrows on them it doesn't matter.

I always fit them so they fall into the closed position... was told to do this by Corgi bloke I worked for on Gas pipes, and have done it ever since on everything...
