I have a Bensham bath shower mixer purchasd from bathstore, the type that sits on the end of the bath as two taps with a telephone handle shower attachment and a lever to switch from the bath to shower.
The switchover broke, and Bathstore have sent me new brass insides, but I can't get the cylinder out. It's the bit with four washers on it that should slide up and down as I change from bath to shower.
I've got the top and the front off the unit, and I can see the cylinder but it doesn't want to move
Is there a reason why it's stuck, and how do I free it off?
