Bathroom Basin Sink Waste

Hello there, I really need help to install Bathroom Basin Sink Waste. That's Ebay link what I have bought http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....m=270110610256&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=017

I am replacing my sink in the bathroom with new standard 1 hole sink. Today received the waste for the sink but I couldn't understand why the waste has 2 holes on the side?

Any suggestions?

Its for the overflow. If you look at your sink waste hole you'll see that the over flow channels will direct water towards these holes if the sink over flows.
