I am laying out cabling in a loft extension, an electrician will come and finally test and certify.

All pipework down by the boiler is linked and bonded to the incoming gas pipe.

I would like to know if I still need to bond metal pipework (and metal objects) in the new bathroom in the loft.
A new 17th Edition CU is being fitted, I understand if it is protected by RCD protection no bonding for this new bathroom is required, could someone please advise.
Thanks

Your electrician needs to tell you for certain if he is signing anything to take responsibility for the installation.

I have confirmation an electrician is happy to work with me provided I have observed the 'Safe Zone' guidance, cables 50mm away from floor or ceiling clipped to joists, and away from any insulation.

But I will bond pipes and any metal work with 4mm in case.
