Hi chaps
I have an ensuite bathroom with 4 low voltage downlights and one light/extractor unit.
they are all run off one switch (in the bedroom) but the fan has an isolator switch.
I have been in the loft and seen that all the lights have dimmable transformers so i was thinking of installing a dimmer- but obviously i dont want the fan dimmed.
It seems to me that from the switch there must be two sets of wires one going to fan (via the isolator) and the other going to the lights.
rather than doing a whole rewiring job could i just put a dimmer next to the existing switch and have the light output from the main switch running via that?
is this the easies way to do it
many thanks
