I understand that regs require that bathroom lighting etc must be rcd protected. I have a spare rcd protected 6a breaker in my cu. so would I be ok feeding the bathroom lighting directly from that source?

If you have RCD protection in your CU, what are your bathroom lights fed from now?

Thanks for your reply. At present they are fed from a 5amp non rcd protected breaker from when the house was first constructed in 1980.

Well you don't need to change it as the regs are not retrospective.
