Ive got a bathroom extractor fan that vents through a vertical pipe that sits on the fan and goes out through the roof. Trouble is that the condensation collects on the duct and runs down back onto the fan. This is what has killed it i think.
-Are any ceiling fans designed against this?
-The other option would be to put a condensation trap in the duct in the loft, but would rather not have to do this, as then i have to run a drain pipe outside somehow.
Can anyone recommend a fan that would suit? There seems to be a lot of choice ranging from £20 to £200!
I havent been able to find one that
-is designed for vertical ducting.
-has humidity on/off
-backdraft flaps.
-mounted directly above shower.
-Anything else i have missed.
Any help or buying links much appreciated.
Cheers
