Crafty - what's wrong with that?

Yeah, that looks OK. Does not really matter where you get them from as long as you have a live, switch and neutral through a triple pole iso, that's fine.

The usual method is as you suggest - a three core & cpc from the rose/jb to an iso, then on to the fan.

Just one point for consideration. Some fan electronics don't marry with CFL's, but if this is the case, it should say so in the fan instructions.

just found out:

the lights i am installing into the bathroom are 240v spot lights but have found out that my fan is 12v

so do i need to get a special transformer so i can make the fan come on with the lights remembering the lights are 240 and fan is 12v
 
you are an aprentice (1 year to go was it) and you are asking us?
 
a year and a bit..i just completed 24months.

i tend to do alot of commercial/industrial work

dont do alot if any domestic work..

just trying to pik up a few tips on here breeze
 
you should still know the answers to some of the questions you ask.

one day you may be sitting here and typing this.
 
i like to think breezer i could do wot you and many others are doing on this forum in yrs to come but i still dont know
