Found that there has been a leak from the bath around the shower screen, causing water to run down the edge of the bath, and onto the surrounding plaster, skirting board, also causing the bath panel to swell.

Therefore under the affected floorboards under the lino has been soaked for almost one year, it has been left to air/dry out for 2 months, yet it still feels slightly damp to touch.

The celling below was also affected by leak which had to be stain blocked and repainted.

The floorboard edges were slighty raised and was sanded down and the area treated with anti mould spray by the handyman, which assure me that it will be fine.

There is also an uneven raised lip along the edge of the bathroom which I have been told is also normal? It is flush with the floorboards on one end and has a gradual slope up. This area was also affected by the leak.

Should the uneven/damp floorboards be replaced?

Looks like a chipboard floor, have you checked how stable it is. If it has been left wet for a year, it will have started to rot and could be weak around the problem area.

Its stable, just can't get it to dry out completely. Have been told its moisture resistant board?

Any idea on what causes the raised lip along the skirting board?
