Help! I have no light in my bathroom. The bulb in the light over the mirror went so I have tried to replace it but it is not working - any ideas?
Also, the main light in the bathroom is a W shaped energy saving light. It's a 4 pin. I have bought 2 new bulbs and neither works. Does anyone know how do I fit this?

4 pin lamps are for electronic control gear.
They have different bases that cannot be fitted into non corresponding light fittings.

Light over the mirror may well be fed via a fused spur from the main circuit, which may have blown. Try locating this (in lof maybe).

The starter motor [ small white cylinder] may need replacing to start the tube.
What type of light is the over sink unit?
If neither light works you may have a tripped circuit or blown fuse.
