Trying to be flash, I bought a bathroom TV, surface mounted the built in speaker is hidden (great design), The only outlet is two phono outputs Must be red and white I guess.

My theory is to buy a cheap ceiling mounted water proof speaker and link it up. Probably a silly question, but is it possible to connect the speaker directly to the Phono outs? If so how?

Also does it matter what spec of speaker, regardings ohms and the like, I don't want to spend a lot as I can't really afford the TV!

Any help greatly appreciated.

You won't be able to drive the speakers direct from the phono/RCA outputs. I've seen small amplifiers built into a standard double pattress that you can buy, something along those lines might be suitable for you.

Look mate, I get out of the shower before Coronation Street comes on so why can`t you?
What the heck is the point of a telly in the bathroom?
