hi

i have the above boiler when putting the water pressure to 1.5 it slowly goes down to 0 this takes roughly an hour when i went outside and looked at the overflow there was a constant trickle of water can anyone help as i have been told this is the pressure relief valve gone

I am sure the PRV has not gone but it is certainly leaking.

There is probably some other underlying fault so just replacing it is unlikely to totally solve the problem.

May be EXV problem or dirt in the system.

right in the last year it has had
new diverter valve
new pump
pcb board
plate heat exc cleaned out

can it still be this

Yes it can unfortunately. The expansion vessel may just need re-charging with a foot pump - or it might be knachered!

You need a good heating engineer to identify which.

It does not matter what has been done in the past! ( Sounds like a parts changer was visiting! )

Its only what it needs now that is relevant!

just an update to say a new prv was fitted and its solved the problem thanks to all that helped :D
