boiuler man.. a differential valve uses the same water on both sides. with a difference in pressure  . and i'd never never never never touch an isolation valve. its the sort of thing that starts nightmares. :D

So if both diaphram are electrically bi passed to create switch, can we presume it's the hot water sensor or flow switch if there is on?
CH works fine but will not prioritise HW and flasing hot water light sugesting fault?
thank's

Hi Guys,

wonder if you can help me,

i am having an issue with my Baxi Boiler.. i believe it is the 105E but im not sure.

since yesterday morning, i have had no hot water..

symptoms,

when turn on hot water tap, green water tap on boiler begins to flash, Flame light comes on as is supposed to. i get about 3 seconds of hot water, and then it goes cold..

Green water light is still flashing, and flame is still burning.

the only other lights, are the temperature lights, which stay constantly on.

any ideas

cheers

I know this is an old thread but I'd just like to thank everyone.
I've just had the same problem as duvet77 and have just fixed my boiler for about £15 and not £60 plus had I got a fitter out.
Job took all of 10 minutes, but I was surprised at how much tension there was in the spring.

Now I can have a shower :)
