Yet another 105e problem. The boiler works ok when heating but only for a short time.
From cold the boiler fires up as required, temp neons light up and pipes and rads heat up and everything is fine until the temp reaches whatever it is that causes the boiler to stop burning then temp begins to drop but the boiler doesn't fire back up again until the rads have become cool then it fires up again until it reaches the temp and continues like this.
The return pipe never gets that hot.
No flashing neons or fault codes are reported the only thing I can notice is a buzzing type noise from the boiler whether firing or not.
I'm stumped as boiler seems ok but just not maintaining the heat. What causes a boiler to stop burning; the return temp or ouput temp?
