Ive just repaired my boiler (thanks to diynots help ) i changed the pcb and air pressure switch ( whitch was second hand ) . Before it broke the fan stopped the same time as the flame but now the fan runs for an extra 10 seconds after the flame has stopped, whitch is normal ? (could it be a faulty air pressure switch ?)

Fan should run for 9.7567384895756 secs after flame finishes, So i guess yours is now ok.

I would expect any boiler fan to stay on slightly longer so it removes all the POC from the boiler.

Would imagine it is Also used to remove excess heat same as worcesters do
