got up this morning and turned hot water tap on, and low and behold NO HOT WATER! Checked the boiler, the water pressures ok and green lights on but the red light is only flashing. Anyone know whats gone wrong as it was ok when we went to bed last night? I've checked the valve (bottom left) and the pin comes out when the tap is turned on and activates the micro switch. javascript:emoticon('')

you say the red light is flashing but tou dont say which one these are fault indicators and the one that is flashing tells you which fault the boiler thinks it has

Always check the obvious first, is the gas on at the meter?
Flashing red light means the gas is not igniting, can you hear the fan running inside the boiler?

It could be anything not just no gas! What number light is flashing? Eg 50 or 60 my guess is 50
