After having DHW problems recently, I changed the DHW diaphragm and the DHW sensor, which seemed to solve the issue and everything appeared to be running tickedyboo. However in the last day or so, my partner complained the hot water only worked when the heating was on. After checking, the boiler fires up on request of hot water, but it's only coming out luke warm. Am I right in thinking my DHW heat exchanger is clogged up, and if so is there any particular way of cleaning it. However if there are any other suggestions as to what it might be , i'm all ears.
Thanks for your time.

With the heating off and cold, run the hot water, does the central heating flow pipe get hot?

If it does the manifold section of the diverter valve is jammed!

If it does not then the plate HE is clogged.

But a better confirmation would be to measure the flow and return temperatures, they should only be about 10-15° difference.
