Today ive had british gas come out to service my boiler baxi bermuda 401 but now i have no heating. I can hear the pump in the loft working, but have noticed under the fire on the left the dial is in the 0 position. Is it just a case of turning that up (it goes up to six) if so to what number ??????????? or do i nedd to call british gas out again thank you.

Depends in what order the guy did his spillage tests. I do fire, both then boiler. That way i dont forget to turn boiler on!

But doing that you leave the fire turned off ! Perhaps only on the control knob though!
Its better to turn the fire off at the square nut inside as that will comfuse anyone who has not been on the Baxi BBU course.

what has any of that got to do with accidentally leaving the stat turned down?
