Domestic hot Water Fine..
But CH fires up Hits 80C in 5 secs & trips out until temp drops to min 30C & then fires up again(3 mins later approx) then hits 80C in 5 secs...trips.... & repeats this cycle???

Ch heating thermistor mate, its a £3 part which you can change yourself and if (when) it works insist that your divertor is changed back and do not pay for a bad repair job.

1. Blocked return filter (If fitted in correct place)
2. Main heat ex Blocked
3. Valve turned off (plastic handle looks open but shaft is closed)

1. OP says filter has been checked and passed
2. Never seen one yet and doubt this very very much
3. Op called engineer due to CH suddenly stopping working, Shaft did not just decide to close.

Its your CH thermistor mate

How easy is it to fit this "Thermistor" ??? & where is it located on boiler.
Many Thanx :D

Could be hot water flow switch is stuck on. Boiler would look at HW temp sensor and switch off. Different boilers behave a bit differently with that fault so it might not be it, but it's v quick to check.

TonyElyod if you can't look in the manual to find where your temperature sensors are, how do you expect us to help you?
There's not a lot you can do unless you look into how it works, and can use a multimeter and a few spanners.
