I am wanting to fit a wireless programmable stat to a baxi duotec 28GA. The thing it, its within warranty, so would I be better off leaving this until I can get an engineer to it? I have read the manual and know where to connect it.
Other question is, would the reciever for the thermostat have to be outside the boiler? Or can it be left inside?
(I would fit a wired stat but everything is boxed in and plastered now).
The integral 24 hour digital timer just doesnt cut it for me - quite often I will hear the boiler cycling every 5 minutes because all the TRVs are closed - cant be good for it running on only 2 rads.
