Baxi Solo 2--"Fan on" light not illuminating--plea

Boiler on light is illuminated but fan not running and "fan on" light not lighting.

fitted a new pcb as i have read its rubbish but fault still there.
have checked resistance of thermostat sensor and thats ok.

is there any commen faults relating to this problem?

please help as we have no heating/hot water for 5 days now.

You clearly have no idea what you're doing. Bite the bullet and call someone who does.
 
Best to get someone out to have a look, could possibly be the Air Pressure Switch

Could be one of about three controls that is preventing it from firing, one of which (as previously mentioned) could be the APS. These controls, however, are safety devices for the boiler and as such should be tested by an RGI to ensure safe operation of the boiler.
 
These boards are a bloody nuisance to fit as baxi says check connection are still pushed firmly on . Also it sometimes takes turning power on and off a few times for them to work properly.
Could be an expensive mis diagnosis at around 125 quid for a board

dont worry,i wont be messing with any gas related items.

was hoping there might be a known fault with these boilers(other than pcb).
 
thermostat sensor ok @ 1.2 M OHM.
pilot solenoid ok @ 1.5 k ohm
potentiometer tested ok

what next??
