Hello,

For the last few days my Baxi Solo PF2 has been making a different sound when igniting. Its a loud clicking sound presumably as it generates the spark. I've noticed it also makes an interference sound on the radio if that happens to be on when the boiler ignites.

I would appreciate if anyone could suggest which component could cause this symptom. Before I call in a corgi engineer. The boiler has been in for nearly 15 years so its done good service so far.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike.

a loud clicking could mean a broken ignition lead/igniter, makes more noise as its trying to jump a bigger or additional gap
