hi guys,

my boiler was fine until tuesday, then it stoped firing up, can light the pilot ok and it stays lit, but when i turn the nob to flame the boiler does not flare up, all dials and timer working fine, new pump on system about 2mths ago, and thermo dial on tank working ok,

so as the pilot is working fine, my thoughts are with the solinoid, any sugetions guys would be apprecated,

Very likely the solenoid 2 min job held in with 2 screws does not involve disturbing any gas bits can cost up to £40 for the bit

my thoughts where the solenoid, can get one for £23.00 on the net, but just wanted to check it out first, before i buy,

Make sure its for that boiler there is 2 types of these solenoids, connection on top and on side
