Hi there,

After 2 years service the door on the lower larger oven now does not shut fully.

Is there any way to adjust the hinges on these to make it close, at the top there will be ~1/2 cm between the edge seal and door. As a result condensation drips from the bottom of the oven onto units below and the temperature light is always on as the oven never reaches the set temp due to heat loss.

Thanks in advance,
Mully

Not really a way of adjusting oven doors

common faults with downward opening oven doors are the rollers/bearing plate in the side of the oven getting worn (especially if you have people who swing/rest things on the open door)

The rollers are where the support arms of the oven door go into, if you remove the door you can normally look inside and see if

a) worn lower edge of bearing where door hinge rests
b) worn roller (if your oven has this type of door)
c) worn oven door support arms
d) very occasionally loose screws on door and/or hinge (do the door hinges move much sideways)
