Good evening and thank you for looking at this post. Any replies gratefully received.

A below ground drainage pipe is blocked with earth and tree roots. Is there any tool or method to clear the drainage pipe without excavating?

The pipe leads below ground from the front elevation of a house to the highway mains drain. The pipe is supposed to provide the drainage link from the base of the rainwater downpipe (from the roof level gutter) to the highway main drain.

The length of the below ground drainage pipe is approximately five metres.

The open end of the drainage pipe is now accessible nearest the front elevation of the house.

Thank you for looking at this post.

Thats helpful thank you. The blockage is about 5m of earth and roots with no information about the connection when it reaches the highway mains drain.

The intention is to install a new pipe or even flexihose within the cleared existing drain.

If you would like to be considered for the work, please let me know with price. The property is in South East Essex, about 35 to 45 minutes drive from M25 / A13 junction. Access to the property is available Saturday or a key to the garage and its rear door (for access to outdoor water tap) could be hidden onsite somewhere so access would be available Friday also.

Thank you again for the reply.
