I've been told by a couple of guys not to bend copper pipe as the pipe or chrome plating tends to crack, and rather use elbows. However the customer i'm installing the shower for insist she doesnt want too many elbows on the pipework.

Are their any tips when bending chrome pipe as to avoid cracking it? I've bought a 2 metre length from BnQ which is wrapped in tight packaging which i've kept on for now.
