from a purely installer point of view i prefer the Vaillant
easier to install, easier to set up, easier to diagnose and doesn't have a stupid 1/2 hour (condense filling) time delay on it when the power is interupted!

kidd condensing boilers have been kicking about 20+ years unchanged apparently

if you looking for a combi though i would say an intergas boiler looks good but i have never fitted one...
