Just to give a little context...
I've decided to fit some signage as I've got CCTV over looking a public lane. I know the legislation regarding this and it is perfectly legal to film a public place. It is to prevent dog fouling and fly tipping. https://www.screwfix.com/c/safety-w...=managedredirect-_-safetyworkwear-_-cctvsigns

Something like this would be ideal but I need to fit it in such a way to prevent tampering and the substrate is external blockwork. Alternatively, there are metal versions of these plastic signs but the price goes up significantly.

Alternatively mount a piece of plywood onto the wall and glue the sign to it ? ... However, the wood will be liable to rot over time.

Any opinions and suggestions welcome.

What makes you think you need to put a sign up?

Treat the wood before putting it up and it will take years to rot.

If people are being filmed they need to be aware. I forget the exact reg mate. I would like people to see the signage also as it's a form of deterrent.

AIUI there is no reg that requires you to do it unless your a business?
It is not a legal requirement for the home user.

Although I agree with the deterrent aspect but the ignorance of dog walkers will likely still leave them.

I've fitted warning signs off a ladder so they are out of reach of casual vandals. I used stainless round-headed screws with a stainless washer under the head.
