Best way to connect freestanding bath tap to pipes under the floor for future access?

Hi all,

I'm fitting a new free standing bath tap which has the flexible tails pre connected with a female 1/2" connector on the end.

I have my hot and cold feeds under the floor. The maximum hole i can make for the tap is only about 50mm in diameter so impossible to connect (or disconnect in the future) the pipes to the tap without either cutting a hole in the floor boards next to the tap or from the kitchen ceiling below.

It's not a problem doing the initial connection, but I would like the option to be able to disconnect the tap from the hot/cold pipe in the future if I need to replace the tap without ripping the floor up or damaging the ceiling below.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Either make part of the flooring an access panel ( which will probably make the floor covering options limited and /or look grim) or an access panel in ceiling below.
