Hi,

I've got a patch of floor right by the front door way that is 10mm lower than the rest (my fault.. didn't mix enough concrete!) I seem to recall adhesive is only supposed to be a few mm thick else its not as effective.
What the best thing to do for tiling it?
Top it up with a bit more concrete? latex?
level with adhesive and allow to set then use adhesive as normal?
adhesive will be ok?

thanks

How big is the patch? Depth is 10mm as you say but what is the square area?
I've done this quite a few times on smaller areas and simply just hand mixed up some more concrete. Its never really caused me a problem.

900x400mm, literally right inside the doorway (where I've bridged the cavity having replaced a window with a door)

hmmm.....i've done patches that big before.
I guess as long as there is DPC underneath and you level it off, it shouldn't be an issue.

Might be worth waiting for someone more suitably qualified to pop into this thread though.
