Better use of back boiler

My house has an oil-fired boiler to provide hot water and central heating (when required). It also has a back boiler in the dining room and this produces a great supply of hot water when we light the fire (which we do, more and more, as oil prices rise). We have a good supply of free firewood into the future.

What I'd like to know is how can we make use of this hot water to get to the radiators as well. I'd have thought it needed a piped connection somewhere from one circuit to the other - then switch on the pump on the existing CH system.

Any advice gratefully received.

Many thanks.

Andy
