beware autotrader phone call charges

I am new here,

I want to say hello to everyone.

Please be careful, as i recently been charged extorniate amount for making a call by their telesafe.

I would never used autotrader if they have this number, as thier charges are too high.

I was not aware at the time of the telesafe exist, as I was looking at the car details, as I usually do and never noticed the number is a telesafe, it is now when I checked the bill that I have been charged amount £4.39 Exc VAT for a for 06.25sec on the 26/03/2009 at 15.42pm.

the exact charges as advertised on Autoripoff are

0870xxxx day 5.67p per minute, evenings 3.02p, w/end 0.93
070xxxx day 37.50p evening 25.00p w/end 12.50p

so as they say buyer beware! as it costs the seller nothing to have a telesafe number!

Four pounds for 6 seconds? Are you sure? Or do you mean 6 minutes 25 seconds? What was the phone no. you dialled? Where did you get the no. from?
