Oh dear I think I might have made a simple problem worse
The shoot bolt on one side of our brand new bi-fold Eurocell patio doors jammed at the bottom so I tried to take it apart and have a look what was up.
So went and I unscrewed the lever that activates the lock on the inside and in the process pulled the square drive bolt out slightly.
This resulted in a clunk and the socket the drive bolt sits in has slid down inside the door! So now I have a door lock that is entirely inoperable instead of just mostly not working
This doesn't seem like how it's meant to work to me, and isn't my experience of how door locks normally work. Any idea what's going on here? Who can I get to fix this if not the installers?
