biasi 24s no hot water

There is a system flow switch at the front left of the boiler!

What is the colour(s) of the wires connected to it???

The 24S was ceased in 2002 ! Is it really only two years old ? If so what manufacture date? ( last four digits of serial number ).

cheers for your reply Tony, i,m just going to check that right now. this all started from the system developed a leak and the pressure dropped, when that happened the overheat button inside the boiler at front popped. since then its just not been rig

hi i have got the last 4 No. 1201 and the colours from flow switch to P.C.B are brown and blue. You know i answred my lerned wrong last night, he asked if boiler made a sound like a kettle. I have noticed that about every 30 sec. its like a quiet whoosh and the flame increases and down. Constantly does this whilst on.

Right! Your boiler was manufacturer in December 2001 !!! rather more than two years old!!!

My best guess is that the DHW flow switch has been tampered with and wrongly reconnected so that there is a spare tag between the two connects. This is behind the gas valve!!! Have you touched it???

The correct connections are the "C" and the "NO" which are the contact on the side and the one closest to it!

WHich "seal" have you changed?
Presumably the pin on the DHW flow switch (blue box) doesn't come out fully when you put the tap on??

   It`s outside? No wonder it don`t work right! Must be five below outside, you sure your pipes aren`t frozen up, that would result in a blockage :!:

All makers say boilers can go outside as long as they are in weatherproof cupboards and have frost protection. I would put anti-feeze in the system to be sure. I would also try to get insulation in the cupboard too.

No manufacturers make a purpose made insulated cabinet for outside fitting. If they did their sales would go up. A high flow combi fitted outside would save tons of space in a house and any explosions are outside too - if they happen of course - making it safer. Noise is elimianted too. Maybe it's too obvious for them.

hi and thanks to everyone who has been kind enough to assist me with this ball buster. been away for a couple of day,s sorry if yous thought i was beig ignorant. should have said. in answer to Chris.R . Hi only myself has touc\hed boiler, not touched D/h/w flow switch, changed the red seal. i,m going to check pins operation just now. be back 20mins. :(

hi i have just been out and checked the flow switch for the d/h/w. it does not appear to be operating atol, when hot tap is turned of and on ???????????/

One of your last postings is at variance with your first posting.

I can easily diagnose faults like this by email but only if my questions are answered exactly and in full.

I still think that you have not answered the first question we asked you about which"seal" you have replaced.
