Biasi Riva compact M90 24s fault problems

this boiler has an intermittent problem where by it reguarly locks out when called for HW (without firing), this problem also extends to CH but not always as it often fires no problem and rads getting red hot. The pin is connecting with flow switch and fan/pump etc appear to be working fine. customer reported when it has cut out in past the temp guage was on 120.

Apparently a gas engineer had already been out to this boiler and replaced gas valve and these problems have apparently began to happen. I was thinking that it could possibly be a dodgy flow switch but would like to hear if anyone has worked on this model with a similar problem?
