Hi folks - after a bit of advice on hot water flow from a storage tank. Got a problem with the bathroom sink and bath (mixer tap on bath). The hot water flow is utter bobbins due to the storage tank being on the same floor as the bath / sink, and the cold water tank being not that much above the hot tank so there's not much gravity at work. As a result when you use the shower head from the mixer and lift it up to a useable height the hot water trickles off to nothing - and my better half is a tad grumpy about this
From having had a dig about I'm starting to understand that I can get hold of a pump to up the hot water flow to the bath / sink a bit (not convinced that I need one for the kitchen downstairs as gravity seems to take care of the flow down there - although if it's easier / only possible to simply bolt a pump onto the "out" of the storage tank I'll do that instead and increase the flow all round), but how straightforward is this?? And will this solve my woes enought to give decent flow to the shower and thus save me getting a regular kicking from my better half?
