I have to pull up a few rows of block paving for the installation of ACO drain.

When I go to re-lay the bricks taken out whats the best method of bedding them back down, I remember when it was done they used a wacker but what is ok to use for this small amount?

Many Thanks

a poly float tapped down well on top of the sand and then trowel it smooth and level. It's easiest to lift a few extra's to make sure you run into the old bed at the same level.

Then pop them down and give them all a dunt with a rubber mallet or the handle of a lump hammer, then kiln dried sand between.
