Block paving. Screed Question ?

Hi. I'm going to attempt to do some block paving at the front of my bungalow ,the drive slopes back to the bungalow and finishes against an ACO drain that runs around the bay windows , Is there a technique for screeding this awkward area considering that the screed poles are pointing up the drive. ?

The process is the same irrespective of which way the drive slopes.

Prepare the base, then either lay the rails to the fall allowing for whacking after you lay the blocks, or whack the sand then spread and grade your 10mm bedding, remove the rails, lay the blocks, whack, joint fill.
