A flat, so little head, but a flow problem more than that. ANy ideas what to try before dismantling loads of pipes ?

Flow at the Bath is OK, both hot and cold
Cold flow at the bathroom basin is OK.
Hot flow at bathroom basin, and kittchen sink (1/4 turn, Rudge), is not much more than a dribble.

Basin(mono mixer) and bath are Ideal Standard , not current, have a flat white disc (5-6cm) covering the top. Quite common I think.

Both gate valves feel as though they're working OK.

I tried sending the mains up the kitchen hot by putting by hand over the spout and turning both sides on, no difference. The flow doesn't vary at all like with an air lock.

Could try putting a wet n dry vac on the basin hot tap, it may work better than backfilling from the kitchen sink.

Tried that, on suck and blow (to clear any sediment).

NB the cold basin tap is fine, same gravity supply as the hot.

SO with the layout as it is it looks like 2 blockages?
