I have a ground floor apartment. The overflow pipe from the gas boiler condensing tank is plumbed into the under sink pipes via a complicated and difficult (impossible) route short of pulling out all the kitchen cabinets. There is a blow back that is caused by something happening in one of the upper apartments that forces water back up into the condensing tank and thus leaks. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

It does seem that what you have is potentially dangerous.

This is a DIY advice site but the condensate output from the boiler is also in effect part of the flue system and so not really something that is very suitable for DIY work.

The condensate output needs to be connected into the drainage system at atmospheric pressure.

Something similar to the open topped upstand pipe which is often used for connecting a washing machine waste pipe.
